"My Jesus" a poem

My Jesus

My Jesus is full of forgiveness 
My Jesus is full of Love
Glory to Him in the Highest
Praises to Him on  the Earth
He has taken me from the ashes
Rescued me from my enemies' claws 

I was weak
I was weary and wounded 
and He lifted me up
crowning me with His Glory
gave His New Wine to drink up
Washing my feet with Hope's water 

Cleansing me with His hyssop
He has caused my heart to will and to do 
To want Him and Love Him 
He is wonderfully worthy 

He has taught me submission and the beauty of Grace
He has given me the Mission
To show them His Face

The Face of my Jesus
Full of Mercy and Grace
The Face of my Jesus
The Image of Love

He is Love 
He is Life
He is Beauty 

He is more than just "jesus"
Who could even comprehend
He gave Himself to us 
His Feet and His Hands

My Jesus is the Alpha
and He is The Omega
The essence of all the beginnings
The fulfillment of all that should end

May I find Him and seek Him
Pour my tears on His feet 

Anoint Him with most precious of oils 
With my worship to crown 
His sweet Head

My Hope and my Glory
My Refuge and Strength
No one can take me away from my Jesus 
Though the seas may have raged
And the mountains have shaken

Whatever was given
Whatever was taken

I shall not be afraid
From the terror by night
And the arrows flying by day 

Yes this is the day 
And yes this is the hour

To reclaim the lost glory
To retake the lost power 

Yes this is the day 
And yes
This is the hour

In His Cross is The Glory
In His Blood is The Power

In His Love we'll take pleasure
By His Grace take the Now
We'll discover The Treasure
And perform sacred Vow

Yes it is in The Name
In His Name is the Fame
For He has saved
His People From their iniquities 
From their fall
From their frailties

Oh how sweet is the sound
It's indeed so amazing
As I fall to the ground
At The Glory I'm gazing 
In the deepest of worship
I cry out with my voice
It is well with my soul
I was lost oh my Lord
Was so lost in my sin
And today I was found 

I was dead in my sins
And in LOVE
I was found
