Thinking Out Loud ... again

It is hard sometimes to be sure about what you want out of life . And sometimes when you think you know, it can be even harder . As the goal can be so romantic , and so dramatic , it actually becomes scary ! We read motivational books , hear motivational sermons and speeches , but you know what is in common to all the motivational stories , preaches and speeches ? The all done after the person already achieved his goal , and now he is sharing with us , "the little people " how can we all get to the mountain ! Read the book of Job ! The most motivational book of the Bible ! Ha Ha !!! He said " I curse the day I was born !" oops . that's not very motivational , NOR positive ! Houston , we have a problem ! Solomon .... great , wise , king Shlomo ! Teaching about success and wisdom !!!! ..... Lived as all his life as nobility , a son of the great and powerful king David , the great Warrior King ! David's Kingdom was the largest in the Jewish history ! Solomon never had a day of hunger , never had his life being threatened , set on a Gold Throne ... Had hundreds of horses and concubines , taking pleasure in all the delights of the flesh ! Ending his life as a paganist and ... well I don't want to say the rest of what is tempting to say . I LOVE proverbs , but isn't a bit humiliating when you are preached at by someone who have never experienced the intensity of your challenge ? And even if he did ! He is at peace now ! he doesn't FEEL what I FEEL ! ... I need someone who would come down and SUFFER with me ! Someone who is there with me in the dirt ! I think this is the reason why David the king was so popular and why he was a man according to God's heart ! He went into battle with his men ! He did not think his life is to valuable to endanger it with the commoners . We should never be elitist in our leadership , people need friends , brothers not teachers .
