Brokenness is the food of my soul , when trials come it is the desperation of my sense of helplessness that connects me with His All Powerful presence , only out of that place I can rise with Power and Authority to stand against the giant and Shout " Thus Far ' You foul spirit of hell ... and NO MORE ! IN THE NAME OF YESHUA!!!! IN THE NAME OF JESUS(for my gentile friends' sake :)) --- This reminds me the scene from the Hobbit ( as the book doesn't have it !!! ) but the scene when Thorin hangs from the tree while the Pale Ork smiles in content of the dwarfs distress ( who are( the Dwarfs) by the way an amazing allegory for the Jewish people !) then Thorin Oaken shield in spite of the desperation ' out of his brokenness while realizing his noble decent and the responsibility as an ambassador of his Kingdom , rises , picks up his Oaken Shield ' that the director helped him to find quickly ha ha . So he walks down the tree as a true Warrior King and engages the enemy with Audacity of a man who knows his authority - though it is out of brokenness and helplessness that he realized the source of his true strength. And though he does not defeat the enemy in this round, the deliverance comes in a form of Giant eagles who biblically symbolize the prophetic supernatural activity of the Holy Spirit and also in this scene he also dies and rises from the dead...BUT this is less important :))) Lovely countenance of Yeshua, how lovely is your dwelling place; You will come as a flood ' when the enemy puts an obstacle (natural fact) against me Natural disaster of human frailty, thank you Lord for the new birth from The Spirit and The Water. Thanks for not abandoning us in our desperation and foolishness , Yeshua you are my Lord and King today , and every day as I trust that You are The One that gives me the desire and does the good work in me !!!

John 17 Jesus Prays for Himself 17 After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: “Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. 2 For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. 4 I have brought you glory on earth by completing the work you gave me to do. 5 And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. Jesus Prays for His Disciples 6 “I have revealed you[a] to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. 7 Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. 8 For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me. 9 I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. 10 All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. 11 I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one. 12 While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled. 13 “I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them. 14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world. 15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. 17 Sanctify[b] them by the truth; your word is truth. 18 As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world. 19 For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified. Jesus Prays for All Believers 20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me. 24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. 25 “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. 26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” Footnotes: John 17:6 Greek your name; also in verse 26 John 17:17 Greek hagiazo (set apart for sacred use or make holy); also in verse 19 New International Version 1984 (NIV1984) Holy Bible, New International Version®, NIV® Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by Biblica, Inc.® Used by permission. Psalm 27(NASB)
A Psalm of Fearless Trust in God. A Psalm of David.
27 The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the [a]defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?
2 When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.
3 Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, In spite of this I [b]shall be confident.
4 One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
To behold the [c]beauty of the LORD And to [d]meditate in His temple.
5 For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His [e]tabernacle;
In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.
6 And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me,
And I will offer in His tent sacrifices [f]with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.
7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice, And be gracious to me and answer me.
8 When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.”
9 Do not hide Your face from me, Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not abandon me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation!
10 [g]For my father and my mother have forsaken me, But the LORD will take me up.
11 Teach me Your way, O LORD, And lead me in a level path Because of [h]my foes.
12 Do not deliver me over to the [i]desire of my adversaries, For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence.
13 [j]I would have despaired unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the LORD In the land of the living.
14 Wait for the LORD; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD.
